Sachin Tendulkar takes oath as Indian MP



Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has full oath as an MP in India's greater home of parliament, the Rajya Sabha.With this, he has happen to the primary cricketer to take a seat in the greater house of India's assembly.


There have been quite a few film personality in the higher house in the history and writer and writer Javed Akhtar and Bollywood performer Rekha are at present MPs.Tendulkar is the first cricketer to score 100 global centuries.The 39 year-old cricket star is respected by millions of Indian cricket fans.The cricketer was on oath in by the Rajya Sabha Chairman Hamid Ansari on Friday dawn. He was accompany by his wife Anjali.

I am here because of my cricketing career- I won not depart playing cricket- Tendulkar said after captivating the oath.I want to raise issues related to sports in assembly- he said.On Sunday, Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni said he was certain Tendulkar would be as winning in assembly as he had be in the field.Tendulkar made his global debut in 1989 and has played 188 tests and 463 one-day internationals.Tendulkar's nomination last month surprised many in India and some criticised the apolitical cricketer for charitable the offer from the ruling parliament party.

Of 250 Rajya Sabha members, 12 are chosen by the leader for special knowledge or practical experience in admiration of such matters as writing, science, art and social serviceaccording to the formation.India home office finalises the proposal list only after receiving the permission of the populace they advocate.
