Fernando Torres could be the likely replacement, but don’t bet on him for the tournament’s top goalscorer. Although, he should get some good looks from Xavi and Iniesta who will look to dish out and control the midfield. Balotelli however talented, is a constant risk for any team he plays. Mancini admitted that Manchester City is at risk of going down to ten men every time the youngster steps foot on the pitch. If Balotelli plays, he will endure long periods of Spanish possession where he must show self-control. At the other end, Capitano Buffon, despite recent match fixing accusations, will be the force in the net. His experience at the top flight should help to comfort the Italians.
